The Balé

The Bale is one of Bali's most modern and minimalist resorts.  Located in the heart of Nusa Dua, the Bale is ideal for those seeking a chic, sexy resort combined with cutting edge design.

With just 29 pavilions, the resort is truly boutique and offers the kind of intimate service and attention to detail with which larger resorts cannot compete.  With white-walled courtyards, calming water pools, stepping stones and wood panels, the resort is both contemporary yet still very much Asian in its feel.

Each Pavilion has its own private swimming pool.  Rooms are minimalist and edgy including terrazzo plinth beds and all modern amenities yet still include touches of traditional Balinese design, including beautiful thatched 'alang alang' roofs.  All rooms include day beds for lounging.  Deluxe Single Pavilions are bigger than Single Pavilions and have larger pools.  There are also some two bedroom Pavilions for larger groups or families.

The Bale has two restaurants as well as the possibility of romantic in-villa dining.   They have a fully equipped Balinese spa, a library and a bar/lounge area as well as a main swimming pool for hotel guests.

Although the Bale itself is not located on the beach, it is around a two minute drive by private car.  The resort has its own beach club complete with sun loungers.
