Spa Village Resort Tembok Bali

The Spa Village Resort at Tembok Bali is the newest addition to a portfolio which already includes Pangkor Laut, Tanjong Jara and Cameron Highlands Resort in Malaysia.  This is YTL Hotels' first property in Bali and they have expanded upon the hugely successful Spa Village concept which has won them so many awards worldwide.  Here, rather than just being part of a resort, the Spa Village has developed to become a resort itself, featuring only 31 rooms and a plethora of varied activities and spa treatments.

The focus of the resort is very much the spa.  The concept is to promote an experience which honours the traditional healing cultures of the region.  Spa treatments include bathing rituals, body scrubs, facials, reflexology as well as Balinese or Malay massage styles.  Guests are also welcome to choose one of four discovery paths, according to their needs. 

The majority of the accommodation is in Kamar rooms which are large, comfortable and elegantly appointed.  There are also two one bedroom Suites and two villas.  The villas have their own private plunge pools and all rooms have a private terrace or balcony.

Activities include snorkelling, diving, handicrafts, tours of the local area, meditation, yoga, fishing trips and boat cruises.  There is also a large swimming pool at the centre of the resort.  The beachside restaurant offers fresh food including seafood in a romantic setting.

There are however plenty of activities beyond the spa on offer and there is sure to be something to tempt everyone.
