The Jimbaran Puri Bali was one of the first of the Pansea properties to open and still remains a popular choice, combining perfectly with the newer sister property, Ubud Hanging Gardens. Located directly on a clean stretch of Jimbaran’s famous golden beach, the resort offers 41 individual villas. Each has a thatched roof in the Balinese style and the cream exteriors are complemented by traditional teak wood entrances. Each villa also has a small terrace outside for sunbathing. Inside, rooms are wooden with cream furnishings. The elegant décor is set off by Balinese textiles, artwork and wooden artefacts. Room facilities include flatscreen TV, DVD/CD player and mini-bar. The bathroom has a terracotta coloured sunken bath and an outdoor shower. Two of the rooms have their own private pools, perfect for honeymooners or couples seeking absolute privacy. The main swimming pool, which is large and includes a children’s section, overlooks the main beach. There is also a spa where you can enjoy Balinese massage, body scrubs or facials. The resort has two restaurants – an Indonesian restaurant which is open for dinner and a beach restaurant, which serves seafood and Mediterranean cuisine. The beach bar is a popular place for a sunset cocktail and guests can relax on rattan chairs on the beach and feel sand between their toes whilst enjoying a sundowner.
