Located in the laid back beach area of Sanur, Bali Pavilions is a short five minute walk from the golden sands and is close to a selection of restaurants and small shops. The resort is characterised by its modern Asian chic, by the absolute privacy it offers and by its very personal service. Offering 23 privately walled villas, each villa has its own swimming pool and a large tropical garden. The living room is a separate area at the centre of the garden, semi-open and with a kitchenette as well as comfortable sofas for relaxation and large television. The bedroom is in another building, with a traditional thatched ‘alang alang’ roof and is decorated with dark wood and elegant furniture. The large bathroom is at the rear through a dressing area. The centrepiece of the bathroom is a large sunken terrazzo bathtub and there is also a separate rain shower cubicle. The resort has its own spa which offers the ultimate in relaxation. Weary guests are even greeted with a sample foot massage which is particularly welcome after a long haul flight. The resort’s semi-outdoor restaurant is a lovely place to sample Indonesian and international cuisine. The large central swimming pool provides a tranquil space for relaxation for those who wish to step outside the confines of their villa. The resort car is available to drop guests at their Beach Club nearby if travellers wish to experience Bali’s sand and sea. Many however choose to rarely leave the absolute luxury of their own villa.
