The southern areas (including Sydney, Melbourne and Perth) enjoy a Mediterranean climate with four seasons, in reverse to the northern hemisphere seasons. In Australia’s tropical north, the ‘dry’ season (May to October) is a wonderful time to visit, whist the ‘green’ season (November to April) brings higher humidity and warm tropical showers.
