Deserted Coves and South Seas Island Hopping
Day 1 - Vitu Levu and Tokoriki Island Resort Arrive in palm-swaying Fiji, where your private driver will transfer you to your awaiting helicopter for an exhilarating scenic flight across Fiji’s turquoise waters to Tokoriki, where you will spend the next 7 nights in a deluxe beach bure. Days 2 - 7 - Tokoriki Island Resort The South Pacific doesn’t get much better than this! Take off your watch and settle into ‘Fiji time!’ Enjoy Tokoriki’s 1000 metres of white sandy beach and snorkel through the breathtaking coral gardens. A ‘must’ is a trip to nearby Monuriki Island, the setting for the filming of Hollywood’s ‘Castaway’, starring Tom Hanks. Day 8 - Blue Lagoon Cruise (departs second, third and fourth Tuesdays of every month) Today you will return to the main island via helicopter, where you will board your awaiting Blue Lagoon Cruise at 3pm at Lautoka Wharf. This is your opportunity to explore Fiji’s magical Yasawa Islands. You will spend the next four days enjoying Blue Lagoon's elegant flagship - the stylish MV Mystique Princess - a 56 metre luxuriously appointed mini cruise liner designed to give the feel of a millionaire’s yacht. It boasts just 36 airconditioned staterooms, each with an ensuite and a panoramic window with ocean views. Set sail and begin your first evening in style with champagne and hors d’oeuvres on the Sky Deck as you watch the sun go down, followed by the superb Captain's Welcome Dinner, after which you can relax as the crew entertain you with Fijian songs and music.. (D) Day 9 - Blue Lagoon Cruise Awake to the sight of Fiji’s pristine outer islands and after breakfast, drop anchor in a sheltered lagoon for a day of swimming, snorkelling and relaxing. Enjoy a beach barbecue for lunch, visit a traditional Fijian village, peruse the local shell market and enjoy an evening of fun as the crew entertain you. (B,L,D) Day 10 - Blue Lagoon Cruise Cruise to the Blue Lagoon’s own private island paradise - ‘Nanuya Lai Lai’ for a wonderful full day and evening. Play volleyball, feed the fish by hand, swim in crystal clear water and stroll along the pure white sand. A traditional island feast or ‘magiti’ in an earth oven (called a 'lovo') will be prepared for you, followed by an after dinner beach party - a truly memorable celebration of fun and feasting under the tropical stars.. (B,L,D) Day 11 - Fiji Orchid Time for another swim or snorkel before the Captain sets the return course for Lautoka. As you disembark at 12 noon with memories of sailing the South Seas, the crew will sing Fiji’s farewell song ‘Isa Lei’. A private driver will transfer you to the Fiji Orchid where you will spend your final night. The Fiji Orchid is a sanctuary near Nadi surrounded by five acres of tropical gardens that showcase an extraordinary number and variety of magnificent orchids. The perfect haven of relaxation to end your adventure. Day 12 - Depart Transfer to the airport to board your onward international flight. (B) Important Note The Blue Lagoon Mystique Princess departs Lautoka Wharf on the second, third and fourth Tuesday of every month at 3pm and returns to Lautoka Wharf (on the main island of Viti Levu) on Fridays at 12 noon.
