Prices for a Bure for day use from £75 per person or for a night from £119 per person including complimentary return transfers from Nadi airport, Denarau marina or Lautoka wharf.

Flights to Fiji operate 4 or 5 times a week (depending on time of year) via Los Angeles with a combination of Air New Zealand and Air Pacific. From December 2009, twice weekly flights will also operate via Hong Kong. Whichever route you fly, the journey time is approximately 24 hours in total (we promise it is well worth it!). Ask your consultant about stopping over in LA or Hong Kong or upgrading to Premium Economy or Business Class.

Nestled amidst beautiful gardens just a 15 minute drive from Nadi airport, this stylish retreat is the perfect place to start or end your Fijian holiday. Once the treasured property of Raymond Burr (Hollywood star of Perry Mason and Ironside), it is now a sanctuary where you can relax and refresh before or after your trip to Fiji's outer islands. The existing house with its expansive verandah has been transformed into a relaxing guest lounge and restaurant and also houses two day rooms. We highly recommend one of the 6 stylish freestanding bures which are dotted in the gardens. Each of these have been beautifully designed with aluminium frames, timber floors and glass bi-fold doors. The special design includes a white textile membrane roof, cut to the shape of a bure – the traditional Fijian-style house. The bures boast a king-size bed, stylish ensuite bathroom and a verandah. Perfect for guests arriving into Fiji early in the morning and departing late evening (as most international flights do), the bures are available for day use and can be booked from 6am until 1pm and from 2pm until 9pm. The Orchid also boasts a gourmet restaurant, natural landscaped pool and massage bure.
