This idyllic 8-acre island paradise nestles in splendid isolation in Beqa (pronounced Bengga) Lagoon – a group of five unspoiled islands surrounded by a pristine barrier reef, immediately south of Viti Levu (the island is accessible via a two hour road transfer and 45 minute speedboat transfer from Nadi). Royal Davui is one of the smaller islands in Beqa Lagoon. It boasts several secluded white sand beaches fringed by a living coral reef. The underwater life is prolific – a kaleidoscope of exotic fish, rays and even the occasional turtle – this is a haven for divers and snorkellers. Above the water, wildlife is also in abundance – the rare and endangered Fijian Banded Iguana, the Kadavu Parrot and Pacific Frigate all call Royal Davui home.

Accommodation is provided in 16 luxurious villas, each with its own infinity edge plunge pool. Designed with complete privacy in mind – each villa has a kingsize bedroom, a bathroom with double shower and jacuzzi and two expansive sundecks with stunning uninterrupted views of the lagoon and surrounding reef. Dining is an integral part of the Royal Davui experience, with meals served alfresco beneath the canopy of a majestic Banyan Tree. Only the freshest produce is used – and naturally, there is a strong emphasis on local seafood – and organic fruit and vegetables from neighbouring Beqa Island.
