Sukhothai
TRADITIONAL LUXURY IN THE HEART OF BANGKOK
Latitude 13°45’N Longitude 73°30’E
WHERE?
The heart of the Thai kingdom’s capital.
WHY IS IT UNIQUE?
Away from Bangkok’s chain hotels and high-rise buildings, this low-rise and elegant property really stands out. Set in six acres of garden, it is both spacious and exclusive. With authentic stupas, Thai silks and teak floors, you can only be in the kingdom of Siam. The Sukhothai’s restaurants are fêted, particularly the award-winning Celadon, which offers superb Thai cuisine.
BEST TIME TO GO?
Bangkok’s rains tend to fall from May until October, although the city still has much to offer even in rainy season.
BEST ROOM IN THE HOUSE?
The Garden Suites are very popular because of their private balconies that look out over the peaceful lotus pond and courtyard garden

Thank you
This is a nice blog and I like reading it. The people of Thailand always make me happy. Even in the face of challenge and adversity, I notice a little of the Thai spirit smiling through.
Thanks for another good article. I pray that Thailand stays free from violent protest. I love this country and the Thai people.
So do we! So far everything is ok! The only advice is if things do turn violent then just stay indoors! But it is thought that it shuold be ok.
Glad to hear it! Thailand is a beautiful country! I love it!
