Although no one offers direct flights to Bali there are several options with the likes of Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines or Cathay Pacific via Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong respectively. Fares start from £330 plus £250 taxes and surcharges. Stopovers are allowed FOC at one of the above cities.

Why not make a day of it when transferring between resorts? Travelling from Ubud to the beach we can take you through beautiful countryside made up of rice fields and coconut groves on the way to the holy spring of Tirta Empul. Later, see the Gunung Kawi Temple with its rock-cut shrines before moving on to Goa Gajah, otherwise known as Elephant Cave, which has a fantastically carved entrance depicting entangled leaves, rocks, animals, ocean waves and demonic human shapes running from a gaping mouth! Afterwards continue on to the serene Taman Ayun, surrounded by a moat. The final stop, before continuing to your hotel, would be to see Tanah Lot Temple, one of the holiest temples in Bali, which is built on top of a huge rock in the sea. Enjoy the wonderful sunset (weather permitting) whilst the waves crash against the rock.
