Oak Beach 45 minutes drive north of Cairns and 10 minutes south of Port Douglas in Far North Queensland, Oak Beach is an unspoiled stretch of pristine golden sand – a great place to ‘get away from it all’ and maroon yourself with family and friends in your own private beach house. The Beach House This contemporary and stylish three bedroom house is the epitome of ‘beachside chic’, perfectly designed for the Australian outdoor lifestyle. The living and dining areas and all three bedrooms open onto a large deck and wraparound swimming pool, which in turn lead directly onto the beach. The deck boasts sunloungers, a dining table and even a built in barbecue complete with stone benchtop, sink and bar fridge – making this glamorous home-by-the-sea the perfect place to enjoy lazy days by the pool and on the beach. PRICES
Prices for 5 nights including 6 days 4WD hire, a welcome pack on arrival and dinner cooked by a private chef on one evening of your stay are from £740 per person based on 4 people sharing.
Flights to Australia vary in price considerably depending on date of departure though there are always good deals on quality airlines. Fares on Qantas/British Airways, for example can start from as little as £699 including taxes and fuel surcharges.
From April 2008, Qantas will be introducing its all-new Premium Economy cabin. With dedicated check in, 40" seat pitch, extra width and enhanced meal service, all this extra luxury comes at a suprisingly low upgrade cost. Please ask your sales consultant for more details.
